Our Sessions
Our Opening Hours
Park Nursery is open 51 weeks of the year, only closing for bank holidays, and the week between Christmas and New Year. We also have termly inset training days for our staff, and we will let you know of these with plenty of notice.
Our days are split into two sessions. Our morning session s run from 8am – 1pm, and our afternoon session runs from 1pm – 6pm. A full day session runs from 8am – 6pm. We are very flexible, and you can therefore drop off and pick up when it suits you.
We recommend that all children are in Nursery by 9am (if in for the morning), as this allows the children the chance to have breakfast and settle in before the activities start for the day. We always prioritise the children’s safety when eating and therefore, we ask that you do not drop off or pick up children between 11:30am and 12:15pm, or between 3:45pm and 4:30pm as this is when we have lunch and tea. This allows all of our staff to be present to observe and aid, without distractions.
Our Session Policy
Our policy states that each child must register for at least 4 sessions per week. This is to ensure each child is in Nursery enough to develop bonds, feel secure and settle successfully. Ultimately, we want your child to enjoy Nursery as much as possible!
4 sessions can be made up 4 mornings, 4 afternoons, 2 full days, or a mixture across the week. These sessions are subject to availability.
If you plan on claiming the 30 hours funding for your child, our policy states that you will need to secure at least 5 sessions per week.
